Kris has 21 years experience in the Equine Insurance Industry and has a lifetime of experience in the horse industry. Kris, her daughter Kelsey and her husband Bill own and operate Pleasantview Farm LLC. They breed, raise, train and show world class American Saddlebred and Standardbred show horses. Kris has served on the Board of Directors of the American Saddlebred Horse Association and The American Saddlebred Foundation. She is a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, The United professional Horseman’s Association, U.S. Equestrian, The American Saddlebred Museum and has served as President of Rosewood Office Condominiums where Independent Equine is based.

Marla grew up with horses. A University of Kentucky graduate, she has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry, in equine, personal and commercial lines. She’s been with Independent Equine Agents for over 13 years. Marla is a member and supporter of many organizations for the equine industry. Look for her booth next at the Equine Affaire, Sept 2005 in Louisville, KY and at Rolex in April 2006 in Lexington, KY. Betsy joined Independent Equine Agents in 1998 as an Account Executive, changing careers after 10 years in the medical field. She has shown American Saddlebred horses for over 15 years, having started at the prestigious Rock Creek Riding Club in Louisville, KY. Betsy is also a licensed AKC Junior Showmanship Judge and enjoys showing her Rough Collies. She is a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, Kentucky American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Association, U.S. Equestrian and the Louisville Kennel Club. Betsy will assist you with your horse or pony insurance needs.
