CARE, CUSTODY & CONTROL LEGAL LIABILITY is essential coverage for any equine professional that boards, trains or breeds horses for others. Should a horse in your care be injured or die and you are found to be negligent, the policy will pay the veterinary expense and/or the value of the horse up to the policy limit you select.

INDIVIDUAL HORSE OWNER’S LIABILITY is designed to protect the owner of personal horses used for non-commercial activities including, show, pleasure or breeding. RACE HORSE OWNER’S LIABILITY provides liability coverage for race horse owners who are not involved in the day-to-day training, breeding or racing of their owned race horse(s).

For example, premises liability for meetings, etc. trail rides, clinics, shows or other activities. This policy can be written to cover one- time events or annually to cover all of the events held throughout the policy term.

HORSE SHOWS/CLINICS LIABILITY coverage is available for a single horse show or clinic. Liability coverage is provided for the actual event day(s) and for the set-up and take-down days.
